Hezbollah described the Israeli army's shooting of civilians in Lebanon's Nabatieh, which killed two people, as a 'clear ceasefire violation' and stressed it has adhered to the agreement so far.
Hezbollah condemned the Israeli army's attack on civilians in the southern Lebanese city of Nabatieh. The party stated the attack was a 'clear violation' of the ceasefire agreement.
Details of the attack
According to a statement by Hezbollah, Israeli soldiers opened fire with machine guns from between houses on a group of civilians busy clearing roads and retrieving bodies from under rubble in the Deir neighborhood of Nabatieh. This attack killed two civilians, including a municipal worker, and injured several others.

In another violation, Israeli soldiers opened fire on residents of the town of Hadatha who were heading to a cemetery for a funeral under the escort of the Lebanese army. Additionally, three 'Merkava' tanks and a 'D9' type bulldozer were observed deployed near the town's cemetery.
Meanwhile, sound bombs were dropped by Israel near the town of Ayta al-Jabal.
