Minister Şimşek has a busy schedule in New York.
Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek traveled to New York City for the G20 and IMF-World Bank spring meetings.

Minister Şimşek’s schedule includes face-to-face meetings with investors prior to the conferences. With a packed schedule of meetings ahead, Şimşek’s agenda begins with a Roundtable Meeting organized in collaboration with Citigroup and the Turkish-American Business Council.
Additionally, the Minister of Treasury and Finance will hold a bilateral meeting with Citigroup Chairman and CEO Jane Fraser, and will later meet with representatives of the real sector at another event organized in partnership with JPMorgan Chase and MÜSİAD. It was noted that, as part of his New York visits, Şimşek will also hold meetings with representatives of international credit rating agencies and meet with leading global investors.
