Combs' spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, said Sean was focused on moving forward with his life. Engelmayer said they hoped the process at the new prison would proceed efficiently without unnecessary disruptions.

Allegations about prison conditions
It was alleged that Combs had privileged conditions at the prison in New Jersey. The allegations included having other inmates prepare food for him, perform cleaning and bed-making duties, and provide massage services.
It was also alleged that the rapper accessed social networks via a mobile phone despite their use being prohibited. These allegations have not been independently verified.
It was also alleged that Combs was removed from the prison for medical treatment after he was injured in a fight with another inmate at the New Jersey prison on October 14. Officials did not provide detailed information about the allegation.
Charges against him and the court ruling

Sean Combs, known by the nickname “Diddy,” was taken into custody on September 16, 2024, on charges of sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, unlawful confinement, arson, drug possession, bribery and obstruction of justice.
The indictment made public by the court referred to parties called “Freak Offs,” which Combs mostly hosted at his homes and which sometimes lasted for days and were generally recorded. The indictment alleged that some people were forced to attend the parties and engage in sexual relations.
The indictment also alleged that Combs threatened to control the victims’ careers by using his influence and subjected them to economic, psychological, verbal and physical abuse. It also stated that drugs were seized during searches of his homes and that witnesses and victims were offered bribes in exchange for remaining silent or committing perjury.
In its ruling dated October 3, 2025, the court sentenced Combs to 4 years and 2 months in prison for transporting women across state lines for the purpose of sex trafficking. The ruling also ordered him to pay $500,000 in compensation.
