US Vice President JD Vance commented on the implementation of the memorandum of understanding reached with Iran. Vance stated that Iran is complying with the agreement and that the Tehran administration can make contact in case of any disagreement.
In a post on the social media platform X, Vance commented on a statement by the US Central Command (CENTCOM) regarding airstrikes on Iran.
"Iran signed a ceasefire agreement. We are complying with it," Vance said, adding, "If they have disagreements about how the memorandum of understanding is being implemented, they can call." The US Vice President also noted that they will respond to "violence with violence."
CENTCOM had previously announced in a statement that the airstrikes on Iran were carried out as a firm response to an attack on a commercial vessel passing through the Strait of Hormuz a day earlier.
