Colombia’s capital saw two days of clashes after the Culture Ministry, on President Abelardo de la Espriella’s orders, pulled about 30 pieces from three halls of the National Museum, including campaign posters of assassinated 1990 presidential candidates and a pen made from a bullet casing used to sign the 2016 peace deal with the FARC. About 500 people protested on Saturday; on Sunday at least 300 held a sit-in on Carrera Séptima before riot police moved in with armored water cannons and stun grenades. Tension later spread to the Center for Memory, Peace and Reconciliation on Calle 26. Footage from the scene.
