Navy Blue will release his new album titled Sir Render to listeners this Friday. One of the most notable details in the project was the guest performance on the album after Ka's death.
Also known as Sage Elsesser, Navy Blue has long maintained his artistic identity in the underground hip-hop scene. Elsesser, also known as a skateboarder, model, and artist, stands out especially with his dark and abstract expression in rap.
There is a strong guest list on the album
The tracklist of Sir Render includes prominent names like Earl Sweatshirt and Armand Hammer. Mike Shabb is also among the guests featured on the album.
One of the most striking details on the album was the contribution that came after the death of Brooklyn rapper Ka. Ka was known as a cult figure in underground rap circles.
The tracklist has also been shared
The album's track order includes a total of 15 songs. The opening track is Commencement, while the album ends with the closing song titled F. E. A. R.
On the list, Mike Shabb appears on the track Oper, Armand Hammer on Residuum, Earl Sweatshirt on Belladonna, and Ka on Circa.
Navy Blue's previous release before this album, titled Ocean Light (Phase 1: Prelude), is also seen as a preparation for the new project. The artist also collaborated in March on the same track with Cavalier, Quelle Chris, and Denmark Vessey.
Sir Render stands out as one of the new works that will further highlight Navy Blue's position in the underground rap scene.
