The qualifying sessions for the Monaco Grand Prix, held on Monaco's 3.3-kilometer Monte Carlo Circuit, have concluded ahead of tomorrow's race. Mercedes' 19-year-old Italian driver Kimi Antonelli secured pole position with a lap time of 1 minute 12.051 seconds.
Antonelli thus topped the qualifying sessions for the fourth consecutive time, following China, Japan, and Miami. The young driver continues to be one of the standout names of the season.
Verstappen and Hamilton in the Top Three
Dutch driver Max Verstappen took second place, just 0.043 seconds behind Antonelli. Lewis Hamilton, racing for Ferrari, secured third place, 0.228 seconds behind the leader.
The qualifying results indicate that the competition will be very close ahead of the race in Monaco. The narrow and unforgiving Monte Carlo Circuit will make strategy and the start even more crucial in tomorrow's race.
The Race Starts Tomorrow
The Monaco Grand Prix will begin tomorrow at 16:00 TRT. The top three drivers on the grid will be among the most critical figures setting the pace of the race.
