Pop star Dua Lipa joined traditional Albanian dances with a glass balanced on her head at her cousin’s wedding in Peja, Kosovo, in videos that quickly went viral.

Pop star Dua Lipa danced with a glass balanced on her head at the wedding of her aunt’s son in the western Kosovo city of Peja on Saturday, September 26, joining traditional Albanian dances as guests clapped and cheered around her.

Videos from the celebration show the 31-year-old singer at the center of the dance floor with a glass balanced on her head, and dancing with the bride. Peja singer Ramadan Krasniqi, known as Dani, who was also at the wedding, shared a photo of himself with Lipa.

According to Kosovo media, Lipa had also attended another relative’s wedding in Pristina a day earlier, where she danced with the bride and groom.

The glass-on-head move is a familiar one for Lipa, who in 2023 shared a video of herself dancing to traditional Albanian music with a glass balanced on her head. Born in London in 1995 to Kosovo Albanian parents, the three-time Grammy winner often highlights her roots and co-founded the Sunny Hill Festival in Pristina with her father, Dukagjin Lipa.
