President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered messages on Türkiye’s regional security policy, relations with Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, and humanitarian diplomacy during his address to the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Erdoğan highlighted the defense alliance established with Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, saying the initiative aims both to strengthen solidarity among the countries and to develop solutions to regional challenges from within the region.
“With the defense alliance we have established with Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, we are both reinforcing our solidarity and aiming to develop solutions from within the region to the problems in our region,” Erdoğan said.
The Turkish president also addressed Türkiye’s approach toward communities affected by wars, conflicts and crises, stressing that he would continue to stand with those facing hardship and injustice.
Erdoğan: I Will Continue to Be the Voice of the Oppressed
Erdoğan said, “As Tayyip Erdoğan, as the president of a great nation with its conscience, history and compassion, for as long as God grants me life, I will continue to be the voice of the oppressed, the victims and those who have no one.”
Erdoğan said Türkiye would continue to pursue an approach that prioritizes regional cooperation and solidarity, pointing to its developing defense relations with Pakistan and Saudi Arabia as part of this strategy.
