Alina Habba, 42, a former personal lawyer to President Donald Trump, married Turkish businessman Turhan Mildon, 29, on Saturday at the Waldorf Astoria in Midtown Manhattan.

The ceremony was held in the hotel’s fourth-floor ballroom, decorated with cherry blossoms and hundreds of red roses. According to reports in The New York Times and the New York Post, the ballroom, music and flowers cost at least $1 million.
Guests included FBI Director Kash Patel, US Attorney General Todd Blanche, White House communications adviser Margo Martin and former boxing champion Mike Tyson. Trump did not attend; he was at the Tennessee–Texas college football game in Knoxville.
Mildon is the CEO of Miller Holding, a third-generation Turkish family company, and vice president of the Turkish football club Çorum FK. Habba briefly served as US attorney for New Jersey before resigning after a court ruled her appointment unlawful. It is her third marriage.
Photos and videos shared by guests show that attendees entered through a tunnel of deep-red roses, while the ceremony took place in a ballroom filled with white and pale-pink blossoms beneath crystal chandeliers. The Correspondent reported that about 900,000 flowers were used and that Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama was among the guests. The couple’s first dance was to Charles Aznavour’s “Hier Encore,” sung by a performer flown in from France, and rapper Nelly performed at the afterparty. Habba wore three different dresses during the celebrations, which were attended by about 300 guests.
