NATO made a notable post about a special display by the Turkish Air Force's aerobatic team, the Turkish Stars. The organization's social media account shared footage from the arrival of US President Donald Trump, who came to Turkey for the 36th NATO Summit held in Ankara on July 7.

The images show the salute flight carried out by the Turkish Stars as President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan welcomed the US leader at the Presidential Complex. During the flight, the jets sprayed red, blue and white smoke, the colors of the US flag.

In NATO's post, the precise timing of the flight was emphasized, and the Turkish Stars were referred to as 'Sharp Wings.' The post is seen as a reflection of military cooperation and gestures of courtesy among allied nations.
