The Los Angeles Clippers have faced severe sanctions from the NBA for violating salary-cap rules. The club will pay a $30 million fine and lose its first-round picks in the 2029, 2030, 2031, 2032 and 2033 drafts.
The NBA said the Clippers will remain under special oversight for five years to ensure compliance with league rules.

Ballmer barred from league activities
Team owner Steve Ballmer was banned from all league and team activities for one year after he was found to have knowingly approved improper procedures and failed to ensure the club complied with NBA rules.
Leonard and Robertson also punished
Clippers player Kawhi Leonard was fined $700,000. Agent Dennis Robertson, who was found to have pressured the club to engage in improper conduct, was banned from the NBA for five years.
