North Korea condemns US-South Korea drills and vows to exercise its right of self-defense
North Korea’s Foreign Ministry described the Ulchi Freedom Shield exercise, which the United States and South Korea will launch on Monday and run for 11 days, as training for a war of aggression. The ministry argued that the exercise would increase instability in the region and be more dangerous than last year’s drills.
