Plans for SpaceX's initial public offering are becoming clearer. The company aims to start trading on the US Nasdaq stock exchange on June 12, 2026.
A fixed price of $135 per share is planned for the IPO. Within this framework, 555.6 million shares will be offered for sale, aiming to raise approximately $75 billion in cash.
It is noted that if the sale expands with additional options, the total amount could reach up to $86 billion. In such a case, the size of the IPO would reach a remarkable level.
If this plan materializes, the transaction will be one of the largest IPOs ever conducted. The report states that this size would surpass the previous record of $29 billion held by Saudi Aramco by a wide margin.
The IPO envisions one voting right per Class A share. The Class B shares that Elon Musk will retain will carry 10 votes per share.
This structure will allow Musk to maintain his voting power even if he opens a significant portion of the company to the public. According to the planned arrangement, Musk's voting share will remain at 82.4%, preserving his decisive role in decision-making.
