US says EU joins financial pressure campaign against Iran
US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Friday that the European Union had joined the US-led financial pressure campaign against Iran. Bessent said the campaign aims to prevent the Iranian government from financing its nuclear objectives, weapons programs and terrorist proxies.
