The University of Southern California (USC) stopped selling cadavers used in U.S. Navy medical training on September 24. Israeli military medical units and Israeli soldiers also took part in the training.
USC announced that the existing military contract would not be renewed. The university said the decision to end the sales was not made because of protests, but followed the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) campus ending its supply of cadavers.

Contract generated more than $1 million in revenue for USC
An investigation published by Annenberg Media in June found that UCSD sent cadavers to USC, which then transferred them for use in U.S. Navy medical training. The investigation also noted that Israeli soldiers took part in these activities.

The investigation also stated that USC earned more than $1 million from cadaver sales under the contract signed in 2016.
