In his speech, Ambassador Sedat Önal emphasized the need to avoid complacency in the fight against FETÖ. Önal said the fight against FETÖ, which aims to defame Turkey and harm Turkey-US relations in countries like the US where the organization continues its activities, will continue.

Pointing out that it is also the duty of the Turkish-American community to take an uncompromising stance against FETÖ, Ambassador Önal stated that they hope to see greater cooperation from American authorities in the fight against the organization.
Chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly's National Defense Commission Hulusi Akar also stated in his speech that July 15 was a turning point for Turkey and that the country entered a profound transformation process. Akar emphasized that the real victory was the resistance and unity displayed by the nation under the President's leadership.
US Muslim Organizations Secretary General Oussama Jammal and Global Policy Institute (GPI) President Paolo Von Schirach also participated as speakers. The speeches expressed that the Turkish people's defense of democracy was an exemplary struggle.

While the video message of Presidential Communications Director Burhanettin Duran was shared with participants, US House of Representatives members Joe Wilson and Pete Sessions also sent solidarity messages to the event.
