Student-led protests against Prime Minister Edi Rama’s government entered their seventh day in Tirana, fueled by anger over corruption, education and unemployment. On the fifth evening, fire spread to offices of Albania’s Supreme Court from a neighboring business, and protesters hurled Molotov cocktails at the entrance of the building that houses Bank of Albania offices. Police cleared the boulevard outside the prime minister’s office with water cannons. Rama has refused to step down, and Justice Minister Toni Gogu said violence is not protest. Photos and videos from the streets of Tirana.
