Finneas responds to Trump’s Iran remark: “I’m concerned about Trump bombing California”
Billie Eilish’s brother posted on Instagram after the president told a Nebraska rally that Iran could “take out” Los Angeles and San Diego.
Singer-songwriter and producer Finneas, the brother and collaborator of Billie Eilish, responded on Instagram to President Donald Trump’s remarks about Iran striking California cities.
“I’m not concerned about Iran bombing California. I’m concerned about Trump bombing California and trying to act like Iran did it,” Finneas wrote.
Trump’s remarks in Nebraska
Speaking at a rally in Grand Island, Nebraska, on Oct. 5, Trump said of Iran: “They can take out a city. Let them take out Los Angeles. Let them take out San Diego.” The remarks drew wide backlash. California Gov. Gavin Newsom called the president “deranged and dangerous.”
Los Angeles is home to one of the largest Iranian diaspora communities in the United States, and San Diego hosts major U.S. Navy facilities.
