A 67-year-old Indiana woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon after authorities say she drove while intoxicated and did donuts on the lawn of the Jennings County courthouse.
Video released by the sheriff’s office shows a car looping across the lawn again and again, passing near a large tree, light posts, a bench and raised concrete areas, plowing into a sign and leaving skid marks across the grass.

“Definitely don’t do donuts on the courthouse lawn”

The woman, identified by local media as Lorraine Wilkerson of North Vernon, faces a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated as well as additional charges. She was booked into the Jennings County Jail on a $950 bond.
The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office shared the footage on social media with a warning: “If you’ve had a few too many margaritas with dinner, please don’t get behind the wheel. And definitely don’t do donuts on the courthouse lawn.”
