Rameda, one of Egypt's leading pharmaceutical manufacturers, announced the appointment of Sharif Ahmed El Akhdar as chairman of the board. El Akhdar will serve representing LVP Pharma in the company.
The appointment came after LVP Pharma completed its strategic investment in Rameda. LVP Pharma operates as the investment arm of LimeVest and is part of a structure focused on the healthcare sector.
The company also announced that Dalia El Shal and Ahmed Abou Hendia were added to the board as non-independent members representing LVP Pharma. These changes were approved at the board meeting held on June 1, 2026.
The board increased to 13 members
Following the changes, Rameda's board now consists of 13 members. The structure brings together members representing the company's main shareholders and independent members.
The company stated that this arrangement reflects its approach to strengthening corporate governance and ensuring balanced representation. The new structure also reshaped the company's management framework in the post-investment period.
Growth emphasis from El Akhdar

El Akhdar said he aims, together with the board and senior management, to accelerate growth, deepen institutionalization, support regional expansion initiatives, and create long-term value for shareholders and patients.
Who is Sharif Ahmed El Akhdar?

Thanks to the former chairman
