US President Donald Trump's envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have postponed their visits to Ukraine. According to Kyiv Independent, while both envoys frequently travel to Moscow, their not going to Kyiv is causing diplomatic imbalance and disappointment on the Ukrainian side. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described the envoys coming to Moscow but not Kyiv as disrespectful. The visit was expected to restart the stalled trilateral diplomacy process between Ukraine, Russia, and the US, but Washington's foreign policy focus shifting to war and negotiations with Iran halted this process. Additionally, the closure of Ukrainian airspace and the difficulty of traveling by train also contributed to the delay of the visit. The main disagreement between the parties continues between Russia's demand to withdraw from Donbas and Ukraine's desire to maintain the current front line. Therefore, new diplomatic formats are being sought between Washington and Kyiv. It was reported that the visit has not yet been finalized.
