Turkish international Arda Güler had a hand in two goals as Real Madrid beat Valencia 3-0 at Mestalla in La Liga on Saturday.
After Fede Valverde opened the scoring in the 28th minute, Güler doubled the lead in the 36th, side-footing home a Jude Bellingham pass from the left side of the box. The 21-year-old celebrated by sliding across the pitch on his knees.
Güler then set up Mbappé in the 75th minute, as the French forward scored in a seventh straight match. Valencia captain José Luis Gayà was sent off with a straight red card four minutes later. The win moved Real Madrid level on points with leaders Barcelona.
Rested for Real Madrid's Champions League trip to AEK earlier in the week, Güler returned to the starting lineup and has now produced three goals and four assists in his last six matches, according to Turkish sports daily Fanatik.
