A Delta Air Lines plane that flew from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Israel was evacuated at Ben Gurion Airport on Tuesday morning after an anonymous bomb threat, Israeli media reported.
The warning was received while flight DL234 was still in the air, and the crew relayed it to Israeli authorities. After landing at around 8:30 a.m., the aircraft was moved to an isolated area of the airfield, all passengers were taken off, and security teams searched the plane and passengers’ luggage.
Threat believed to be a hoax

Security officials said their assessment was that the threat was false but that a full inspection was carried out as a precaution. Later reports said nothing unusual was found and airport operations returned to normal.
Authorities have not said who made the threat. The incident comes about two weeks after an attempted attack on a flydubai flight carrying Israeli passengers.
