The Lakers' Slovenian star Doncic finished the game with 41 points, 9 assists and 5 rebounds. Austin Reaves scored 26 points, Sandro Mamukelashvili added 17, and Walker Kessler contributed 13.
For the Blazers, Ja Morant and Deni Avdija led the way with 23 points each. Robert Williams also recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Celtics prevail in overtime
In another NBA game of the day, the Boston Celtics faced the Brooklyn Nets at TD Garden. The Celtics won the overtime contest 125-124.
