Four people were killed in a strike on a high-speed boat suspected of drug trafficking during an operation in the Caribbean on Sunday.

US Southern Command said the operation was carried out by the Joint Task Force-Western Hemisphere and that the boat was traveling along routes used for drug trafficking in the Caribbean.
The command said intelligence confirmed that the boat was actively involved in drug trafficking. The statement described those killed in the operation as “narco-terrorists.”

Footage of the operation showed the boat moving across the water before it was struck and caught fire following an explosion.
