Houston program spotlights McCurdy's chronicle of a century of Turkish-American relations
Türkiye's Consulate General in Houston attended a program held in the city for G. Lincoln McCurdy's book "A Chronicle of Turkish-American Relations, 1923–2023," praising the author's contributions to ties between the two countries.
Türkiye's Consulate General in Houston attended a program held in the city on the occasion of G. Lincoln McCurdy's book "A Chronicle of Turkish-American Relations, 1923–2023," the consulate said.
The book spans the century from 1923, the year the Republic of Türkiye was founded, to the republic's centennial in 2023, tracing relations between Türkiye and the United States over that period.
The consulate said it was pleased to meet McCurdy, whom it described as having made valuable contributions to Türkiye-U.S. relations. Photos from the event show McCurdy with guests holding copies of the book.
