Istanbul 11th High Criminal Court has ruled to issue a red notice for the international arrest and extradition to Turkey of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The decision was made in the case concerning the alleged attack on the humanitarian aid convoy named the Sumud Flotilla.

The court filed a public lawsuit against Netanyahu and other defendants on charges including "crimes against humanity", "genocide", "damage to property", "aggravated looting", "intentional injury", "torture", "obstructing the movement of transport vehicles", "abduction or detention", and "deprivation of liberty".
The red notice decision will be sent to the Interpol General Secretariat via Turkey's Ministry of Justice and the Interpol-Europol Department. If Interpol approves the decision, Netanyahu will face the risk of arrest and extradition to Turkey during travel to countries that are part of the red notice system or states that have extradition agreements with Turkey.
