Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic Senate candidate from the U.S. state of Michigan, argued that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pushed the Donald Trump administration toward war with Iran.
Speaking on a television program, El-Sayed said Netanyahu had entered the situation room and taken a pro-war position, adding that the United States was paying the price.

El-Sayed also accused U.S. authorities of spending billions of taxpayers’ dollars on wars outside the country.
Trump, meanwhile, announced his support for the Democratic candidate’s Republican challenger, Mike Rogers. Describing El-Sayed as a “radical extremist” and a “supporter of terrorist organizations,” Trump urged voters to vote for Rogers.
