President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Polish President Karol Nawrocki in New York as part of his diplomatic engagements surrounding the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. The meeting at the Turkish House also featured a notable exchange of gifts between the two leaders.

Nawrocki presented Erdoğan with a Polish sword displayed in a specially designed case. The gift followed an earlier gesture by Erdoğan, who had presented Nawrocki with a personalized Turkish-made revolver during their meeting in Ankara.

The exchange drew attention as a symbolic reflection of the military traditions associated with the two countries. Images from the New York meeting showed Erdoğan and Nawrocki standing together beside the sword after the gift was presented.
