Noskova and Kostyuk advance to Wimbledon semifinals, Gauff's final opponent to be decided
Czech Linda Noskova and Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk, who won their quarterfinal matches at the Wimbledon Tennis Tournament, will meet in the semifinal. In the other semifinal, American star Coco Gauff will face Czech Karolina Muchova.
The semifinal line-up at the prestigious Wimbledon Tennis Tournament in London has been confirmed. Two players who competed in the quarterfinals have booked their places in the last four.
Czech tennis player Linda Noskova defeated German Elise Mertens 6-3, 7-5 to advance to the semifinals. In the same round, Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk beat Italian Jasmine Paolini 6-3, 6-2.
With these results, Noskova and Kostyuk will face each other in the semifinal. The winner of that match will play the winner of the other semifinal for the championship.
In the other semifinal, Czech Karolina Muchova will face young American star Coco Gauff. Gauff's performance on the road to the final will be a contest closely followed by American tennis fans.
