Digital billboards in New York’s Times Square carried messages against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as he visited the city for the UN General Assembly’s high-level week.
Beneath a black-and-white image of Netanyahu, the screens read “Netanyahu doesn’t represent American Jews” and “Zionism is not Judaism.” Another billboard, under the heading “Not in our name,” said: “NYC Jews stand firm against the politicization of antisemitism.”

Netanyahu addressed the General Assembly on September 24, as thousands protested near UN headquarters, where police arrested 103 demonstrators.
