TRNC Foreign Minister Ertuğruloğlu briefs Washington think tanks on Cyprus
Turkish Cypriot Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu moved on to Washington after his contacts at the UN General Assembly in New York, presenting the Cyprus issue at the Atlantic Council and meeting at the Hudson Institute.
Foreign Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu has moved on to Washington after completing his contacts in New York on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, the TRNC Foreign Ministry said.
As part of his Washington program, Ertuğruloğlu first attended a meeting at the Atlantic Council, one of the leading U.S. think tanks, where he gave a comprehensive presentation on the Cyprus issue to academics, analysts and institution officials and answered participants’ questions.
Ertuğruloğlu also held talks at the Hudson Institute, another prominent Washington think tank, as part of his contacts in the U.S. capital.
