U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he will host Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei for a private dinner at the White House.
Speaking to reporters aboard Marine One on Sunday, Trump said, "I’m having dinner tonight with the president of Anthropic." He described Amodei as "highly respected."

Tuesday meeting with artificial intelligence executives
Trump’s dinner with Amodei comes ahead of a meeting scheduled for Tuesday with U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson and leading artificial intelligence executives.
Pressure on Congress is mounting amid calls to establish safeguards for rapidly advancing artificial intelligence technology. Tuesday’s meeting will take place as this issue gains prominence.
