The Federation of Turkish American Associations (FTAA) attended the 18th annual Scholarship and Awards Dinner of the NYPD Muslim Officers Society in New York, the federation said.
The federation said its executive board members joined police officers who serve with dedication to keep the community safe, and shared in the support given to young people's education at the event.

"We wholeheartedly congratulate all the police officers who received awards and the young people who earned scholarships, and we thank everyone who organized the evening," the federation said. "Every friendship we build for unity, solidarity and service to the community strengthens our future."
