The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office has charged 36-year-old Florida resident Ivanna Ortiz in connection with the March 18 shooting at Rihanna's home in California.
According to the unsealed indictment, Ortiz faces one count of attempted murder, 10 counts of aggravated assault with a firearm and three separate counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling. The indictment was filed on June 18.

The indictment alleges that Ortiz drove to the front of the Beverly Crest home and opened fire on the building with a semiautomatic rifle. Rihanna's home is located about 32 kilometers northwest of downtown Los Angeles.
Rihanna, her boyfriend, their three children and several guests were on the property at the time of the incident. Despite the gunfire, no one was injured, according to the indictment.
Ortiz was later taken into custody in Los Angeles' Sherman Oaks neighborhood. Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman said firing at an occupied home was a serious and violent crime.

Ortiz, who has pleaded not guilty to the charges, was ordered held on $2.65 million bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 29.
If convicted, Ortiz could face life in a California state prison.
