It has been reported that 22 doctors were involved in Donald Trump's latest health checkup. Experts noted that having such a large medical team for the 79-year-old Trump was unusual.
The White House revealed that the 22-member team included some general practitioners. President Trump's physician, Sean Barbabella, wrote in a report following the May health examination that Trump's health was excellent, demonstrating strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical functions.
Trump also stated on his Truth Social account that all tests were completed thoroughly and yielded excellent results. The interim health screening conducted in October was closely monitored following the annual examination earlier in the year.
Some experts suggested that the report could have included more detailed information, especially regarding cardiovascular test results. While the details of the checkup sparked public curiosity, the number of doctors involved also became a topic of discussion.
Trump's health remains a subject of attention, especially after debates about former President Joe Biden's health issues affecting the 2024 election campaign. Opponents point to frequent bruising on Trump’s hands, suggesting he may be experiencing a similar decline.
A poll released last month showed that 59% of participants believed Trump does not have the mental sharpness required to serve as president. In the same poll, 55% thought his physical health was also insufficient for the role.
