Activities for children and Republic Day program
A bounce house, face painting, games and prizes are planned for children. As part of the celebration marking the anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye on Oct. 29, 1923, there will be children’s performances, folk dances, community activities, a flag display and a photo area.

A five-story center in Brighton Beach
Brooklyn’s Eyup Sultan Mosque was started by the local Turkish community, and the project was later taken over by Türkiye’s Presidency of Religious Affairs. Built between 2003 and 2010 at a cost of about $3 million, the five-story cultural center opened for worship on Sept. 3, 2010. Its prayer hall can hold more than 800 people, and the building also houses classrooms, a kitchen and dining hall, guest rooms, a conference hall and a library.
