Fox News is on track for its lowest-rated month since December 2023, averaging about 1.1 million total-day viewers in October, according to preliminary Nielsen data obtained by the media newsletter Status and reported by The Daily Beast.
Total viewers fell 27% from last October, while the key 25-to-54 age group dropped 32% to 98,000, the network's lowest monthly figure in that demo in a quarter-century. In prime time, Fox averaged 2 million viewers, down 28%. "Fox & Friends" had its smallest overall audience since July 2015.

Fox remained the only network averaging more than 1 million total-day viewers and still led overall cable ratings. Rival MS NOW rose 16% to 588,000 daytime viewers and CNN gained 3% to 402,000.
The figures come as President Donald Trump has criticized the network for interviewing Democratic candidates. Last year's numbers were boosted by major stories, including the Gaza ceasefire and hostage releases.
