From Bangladesh to El Salvador: Fidan’s busy day of diplomacy in New York
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a string of bilateral meetings at the Turkish House in New York, receiving Bangladesh’s Humayun Kabir and meeting counterparts from El Salvador, Venezuela and Guinea-Bissau on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a series of bilateral meetings in New York on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly, hosting several counterparts at the Turkish House (Türkevi).
Fidan received Humayun Kabir, Bangladesh’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs, at the Turkish House.
He also met El Salvador’s Foreign Minister Alexandra Hill, with the two countries signing an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation after the talks, and held separate meetings with Venezuelan Foreign Minister Felix Plasencia and Guinea-Bissau’s Foreign Minister Fatumata Jau.
