Houston consulate hosts VakıfBank briefing for Turkish businesspeople in Texas
Türkiye’s Consulate General in Houston hosted a VakıfBank New York team led by branch general manager Güldal Şişman, who briefed Texas-based Turkish businesspeople on the bank’s financial services and support.
Türkiye’s Consulate General in Houston hosted VakıfBank New York Branch General Manager Güldal Şişman and the branch team, the consulate said on Oct. 14.
Consulate officials also attended an information meeting, organized with the support of the commercial attaché’s office, at which VakıfBank presented its financial services and strategic support to Turkish businesspeople based in Texas.
A New York branch since 1995
State-owned VakıfBank opened its New York branch in 1995 to serve foreign trade customers and to take part in international financial markets. The branch is located on Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan.
