The Pentagon released a new batch of U.S. government UAP records on Friday. The package contains 41 documents, photographs and videos concerning unidentified aerial phenomena, also known as UFOs, and is the fifth collection of such materials made available to the public.
The files include records created by agencies including the Pentagon, the FBI, the CIA, the State Department and the Executive Office of the President. The documents cover the period from 1950 to this year; the oldest record dates to 1950, while the newest is from this year.

New batch follows Trump's executive order
The Pentagon's latest release follows the fourth release made after U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order earlier this year providing for the public disclosure of government records related to UFOs.
The Pentagon said work is continuing to publish the next batch of UAP files.
