Microsoft and Amazon's better-than-expected financial results triggered a strong rally in US tech stocks. The optimistic mood boosted risk appetite in global markets, leaving behind concerns over artificial intelligence spending. Additionally, Iran's announcement that it was holding talks with Oman over the Strait of Hormuz eased geopolitical risk perceptions, supporting markets.
