Tibi takes a “voluntary migration” jab at Netanyahu as UN hall empties
Palestinian-origin lawmaker Tibi criticized Netanyahu’s speech to an almost empty hall at the 81st UN General Assembly in a post on X. In his post, Tibi described Netanyahu’s performance as another “international success.”
During Netanyahu’s speech at the 81st UN General Assembly, representatives from many countries left the hall. The representatives were protesting Israel’s genocide in Gaza, its land seizures in the occupied West Bank, and its attacks on Syria and Lebanon.
Netanyahu was seen bringing some Israelis to the UN General Assembly to applaud him as he addressed an almost empty hall.
Palestinian-origin lawmaker Tibi responded to the events in a post on X.
In his post, Tibi mocked Netanyahu, writing: “Voluntary migration from the hall. Another international success for Netanyahu.”
