Trump says US will increase economic pressure instead of new Iran operation
U.S. President Donald Trump said in an interview with Axios on Sunday that they were ready to increase economic pressure on Iran instead of immediately launching a new military operation. Trump argued that Iran’s economy was deteriorating and said the decline in oil prices to slightly above $75 per barrel had reduced the economic impact on Americans.
