US President Donald Trump plans to visit Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for medical and dental checkups for the third time during his second presidential term. According to a White House official, Trump also underwent health checkups at Walter Reed in April and October of last year. Additionally, he visited the dentist twice earlier this year and last month. Trump will turn 80 next month, making him the oldest person to serve as president at that age. Despite rumors about his health, he frequently emphasizes that his health is excellent. Highlighting his energy and vitality during his re-election campaign, Trump criticized his opponent by calling him 'Sleepy Joe Biden.' However, occasional sleepy moments and bruises on his hands, which the White House explained as due to handshakes and blood-thinning aspirin use, continue to raise questions about his health condition. During a checkup last year, Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency. Trump stated that aspirin thins his blood and that he does not want thick blood flow to his heart. During the visit in October, the White House initially announced it was a planned follow-up checkup, but Trump later said he had an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging). It was later revealed that this examination was a CT scan targeting the heart and abdominal area. The president's doctor, Dr. Sean Barbabella, stated that Trump underwent a routine physical evaluation during his visit to Walter Reed to confirm he maintains optimal health and agreed to advanced imaging tests. The CT scan showed no abnormalities. During the April checkup last year, it was also announced that Trump's heart, lungs, nervous system, and general physical functions were sound. Trump's daily schedule includes numerous meetings, public events, press briefings, and frequent successes in golf tournaments.
