Turkish consulate in Toronto discusses COP31 with Ontario Environment Minister McCarthy
Türkiye's Consulate General in Toronto exchanged views on COP31, the U.N. climate conference to be held in Antalya on Nov. 9-20, with Todd McCarthy, Ontario's Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks.
Türkiye's Consulate General in Toronto met with Todd McCarthy, Ontario's Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, to exchange views on COP31, the consulate said.
The 31st U.N. Climate Change Conference will take place in the Mediterranean city of Antalya on Nov. 9-20, 2026, with Türkiye as host. Under an agreement reached at COP30 last year, Türkiye hosts the conference while Australia leads the negotiations.
On the same day, Türkiye's Embassy in Ottawa hosted officials from Calgary International Airport to discuss stronger connectivity between Türkiye and Canada.
