The Education Attaché’s Office of the Turkish Consulate General in New York held its monthly online meeting with scholarship students studying in its region, reviewing their academic progress and the challenges they encounter. “We continue to stand by our students on their academic journeys,” the office said.
Around two dozen participants joined the video call, according to an image released by the office. Türkiye’s Ministry of National Education funds graduate study abroad through programs such as YLSY, under which graduates later serve at Turkish universities and public institutions.

The Consulate General is housed in the Turkish House (Türkevi), across First Avenue from United Nations headquarters in Manhattan.
