The third edition of the Sofia Art Fair opened in the Bulgarian capital with a ceremony attended by Culture Minister Evtim Miloshev and Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev. Türkiye’s Embassy in Sofia said it was pleased to attend the opening, where works by Turkish artists Ardan Özmenoğlu, Gökhan Tüfekçi, Esat Tekand, Ali Kotan and Mustafa Horasan are being exhibited.

Running Oct. 8–11 at the John Atanasoff Innovation Forum in Sofia Tech Park, the fair brings together 27 galleries and exhibitors from eight countries, with work by 88 artists from 17 countries, according to Bulgaria’s state news agency BTA. Siyah Beyaz, a gallery from Ankara, is among the international exhibitors.

The embassy said it would continue supporting the presence of Turkish artists on international platforms, helping contemporary Turkish art reach wider audiences and strengthening cultural ties between Türkiye and Bulgaria through art.
