The YPG announced that it had dissolved its autonomous administration in Syria and all military and civilian structures affiliated with it.
Announcing the decision to journalists at the People's Palace in Damascus, Ferhat Abdi Şahin said the forces had been disbanded as an independent military force after their integration into the Syrian army's brigades was completed.
Şahin, who uses the nom de guerre Mazloum Abdi and is described as one of the YPG's leaders, said the decision was made after an agreement was reached with Ahmed al-Sharaa.
Integration agreement reached on January 29
